The aim of my project has been to create an apartment building with affordable housing keeping a high standard. It was also important to create a big variation in apartments and to make these flexible so that people could move in or be able to stay even if their circumstances changed.Before the start of the design process studies of the housing conditions in Dar es Salaam was conducted through interviews with students and professionals living in Dar.
